For the month of September an interview of me at kilnhouse studio will be shown on Shaw Cable ten. The clip plays every twenty minutes! Although I'm not the best public speaker, I appreciate the interview Dianne Townsend did with me. I am talking about the work that I make here in Fort St. John at kilnhouse. I finally have a new computer so will be updating my website on a regular basis! I have been very busy with kilnhouse lately, new customers and collectors. I had a show in Smither's BC for the month of April, the show was named "Vintage Lovelies" and was held at the Smither's Art Gallery. I showcased a lot of sculptural and functional new work.
I will be having a solo show at the Fairview Art Gallery in Fairview Alberta for the month of October. The show is named "drink" and will showcase many mugs and tumblers, jugs and teapots. I've made a variety of styles of work, there will be a scraffito series (carved outside) of mugs, a vintage lace series, an illustration series and a bunch of teapots too!!! The opening is October...
